Hi. I know nothing about computers. I have windows ME and I want to run the defrag program. I click Start, click programs, then accessories.... but I do not have system tools.... my only options once I am on accessories are communications, and synchronize. Can you please tell me how to run the defrag program on windows ME. Thank you very much for your help!! :-)

Hi - you've mistakenly posted your question in a group for Windows 2000
Active Directory issues. Post in one for Windows ME, and I'm sure you'll get
more help there. Good luck!

Note - posting your valid e-mail address in a newsgroup post, or in your
news account settings, is a surefire way to get spam and SWEN and other
viruses sent to you....see http://www.mailmsg.com/SPAM_munging.htm for help
in the future, but note that now that your address is out there, there's not
much you can do other than changing your address.

Sounds to me like they are not installed.

1st check that the entire menu is listed and that there
is not a double arrow at the bottom of the menu to show
the rest.

If not you can install by going to start, settings,
control panel, add/remove programs, windows components
(=button on left), from here you should be able to select
accessories and then use the details buttone to see which
are to be installed...

Hope this helps, Simon.
