I have just got a new laptop with Vista Business and am trying to set up
email. Having set it up, when pressing the send/receive button, it keeps
going onto 'dial a connection', even though I have wireless

OK, no problem, go to tools>accounts>select your
account>properties>connections tab, remove the check mark from "Always
connect using".>apply>OK

WM will now use any available connection.
