I am unable to send emails...
my incoming is pop ntlworld which I get mail from however my outgoing is sky
smtp
which keeps coming up with error Account: 'home', Server:
'smtp.tools.sky.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error
Number: 0x800CCC17

I have been on sky help and sone everything it suggests ..soing something
wrong please help
 
Since your outgoing server is from a different company than your
incoming server, are you using the custom authentication for the
outgoing (SMTP) server?
In Windows Mail go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account,
click Properties, Servers. Make sure that the "My server requires
authentication" option is checked. Click the adjacent "Settings" button.
Select "Log on using" then enter your Sky credentials. Click OK.
Try sending.
