i am having a problem with opening my windows mail.....the following message
appears.....
Window mail could not be started because another instance of it is still
running on your computer.

it tells me to log off windows and restart computer...this i have done but
problem remains the same and i cannot see it running anywhere else...any
ideas or help please thankyou

When you get that error message, open Task Manager
(Ctrl-Shift-Esc or right-click on the Taskbar).
Click Processes, then "Show processes from all users."
Look for WinMail.exe. If you see it, 'End Process' it.
You should now be able to start Windows Mail normally.

As to what causes it to hang around after the program is
exited, one theory is incompatible third party security products.
