I have been having problems with some characters in Windows Mail recently.
The most significant one is the inability to type the @ sign, which means I
can't send any email unless the contacts are already in my address book.
When I try to type @, it comes up with " What do I need to do to rectify
this.... Tks...

Dat kan soms aan de ingestelde taal van je toetsenbord liggen. Soms helpt
dit als je deze dan van NL naar Engels (Verenigde Staten) omzet.

Control Panel | Clock, Language and Region
Change the keyboard setting to the one you are using.
