windows mail wont receive mail

i have looked at other peoples problems regarding this and the problem still
wont fix i keep getting this message and want to know how to fix it
The host 'mail.bigpond.mail' could not be found. Please verify that you have
entered the server name correctly.
Account: 'mail.bigpond.mail', Server: 'mail.bigpond.mail', Protocol: POP3,
Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D
everything is right as i have been using it like this for the last 3 months,
the first problem was i could not delete emails and fixed that and now i have
this problem could someone please help me, thank you

The server name is incorrect.

Check against this:

There's also another Bigpond ISP in Australia. I didn't find anything
useful on them.

.... your server names should be mail.bigpond.COM
