Windows Mail will not start up now

When I try to start Windows Mail I get an error window
that says "Windws Mail has stoped working". Check online for a
solution finds nothing, and going to "Task Manager" does not show
Windows Mail is even a process running, sometimes if Windows Mail locked up
I would have to end the process, even though Windows Mail had been closed and
off for awhile.
This PC has been running a couple of years and upgraded to Vista over
a year ago with very few problems along the way, only some that updates cured.
This problem just started a couple of days ago.

Windows Mail is no longer supported by Microsoft.
I recommend installing its replacement, Windows Live Mail:
