Hello,
I have a problem under Vista SP1 and Norton 2008 with Windows mail
(I also have the same problem with Outlook2002 on the same Vista PC). I
receive my mail but can't send them.
The error message is the following : echec de la connexion au serveur
Objet "test", Compte :'Messagerie", Serveur: 'relay.skynet.be', Protocole :
SMTP, Port : 25, sécurisé(SSL) :NON, erreur de socquet : 10061, Numero
d'erreur
: 0x800CCC0E
I have contacted the provider Skynet and everything is OK, I use it on
another PC XP without problem.
I have chatted during hours with Norton'people to finally completely
uninstall Norton and run their cleanup program to delete all what the
uninstall left behind. Same problem occurs without my antivirus.
I have remove my mail account and reinstall it: always the same error
I have tried with installing my old version of Outlook2002 : same problem
with error 0x80042109
I work with my Vista PC for one year but it's the first time I try to use
Windows mail or Outlook on IT.
Help would be appreciated
