Windows Mail or Outlook Express??

I have upgraded from XP to Vista, with Office 97 installed. When I launch
Windows Mail, the top header on the screen says 'Inbox - Outlook Express
powered by BTOpenworld'. But in the Help menu, the app is described as
Windows Mail.

Does anyone have any idea why the reference to OE remains?

Thks

If you are not comfortable editing the registry, then leave it be or get
someone to do it for you.

You edit the registry at your own risk

Although they don't use this key by default in Vista, they respect and
migrate it if it existed in the primary identity of an OE install on the
machine.

Go to Start>Run>Type regedit and click on OK

Look for a string valued key in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows Mail called
"WindowTitle" right click on the "WindowTitle" value>modify and change it to
whatever you want.
I use my name.
