Windows Mail Not Sent

Why can't the windows mail find the server? We have Earthlink and I keeping
getting a message that it is trying to connect to "earthlink.net" and below
that "Finding Host" . The Internet is up and working so why can't it
connect? I have 8 messages that have been there for a week

I have never been able to send or receive mail since I got windows vista last
august. This is a brand new computer and I am mad as hell. Is everyone
having problems with it? I hope I am not just one of a few. thanks

Please post the entire error message you get...
right-click on the message, select "Copy".
then paste it into a reply.

The devil is in the details.
Right-click on the error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We often need to see all the diagnostic information in that error message
in order to facilitate troubleshooting

Probably because that's not the correct server name. See here:

If that's not the problem, right click on the error messages and copy
the entire error messages to your next message, since a summary of
the messages often isn't enough to show what's wrong.
