Windows Mail not responding

Hello there,

For the last couple of months I am getting the message " Windows mail not
responding" It takes long time to download and open the mail screen.
I have contacted our internet provider, we cleared all browsing history and
I also clear sent mail, deleted mail and trash both on my computer and on
the website regularly.
I was told that there must be something wrong with the program " windows
mail" but how could that be when it always worked just fine before.

I would really appreciate any advise you may be able to give me.

Try downloading WMUtil from http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/Default.aspx

Read the instructions.

Run WMUtil with WM closed, this might correct any corruption to the message
store?
 
Which antivirus are you running? Some of them cause problems with
Windows Mail over time.
