Windows Mail doesn't recognize set association to .pps attachements

I have just installed Windows Mail with Vista, but it is impossible to open
..pps attachements. I went to Control Panel/ Standard Programs/selected
Windows Mail/ Define this program as standard/ Ok, but it didn't work. What
can I do to open my .pps attachments?

pps files are Powerpoint files. Do you have
MS Office installed? You can obtain a Powerpoint viewer from MS.
