windows mail desktop and windows live

when I check my hotmail in windows mail desktop and delete things from it,
it only gets deleted in the program not actually from my hotmail which is
online and it keeps showing error messages of emails i tried to send but
didnt work why is this? and how can I fix this?

The key here is the fact that you are getting errors. The sync between local and
server should happen fairly quickly, but if you are failing to connect again
after the initial mail download, it won't be able to update the server.
