If you have a corrupt message on the POP-server.wi.rr.com server this will
fail to download.

Log on to your providers webmail site with your account details and delete
some messages that you do not need.

Does it download the same 15 messages each time?
If so, go to https://webmail.wi.rr.com, login, then delete the 16 oldest messages.

Incidentally, keeping your Caps Lock key down is frowned upon in these newsgroups.

Hey mac, This has been going on for a long time, months. And that is my only
recourse, to log on to the web mail account and delete messages. I'm just
tired of this procedure. I will have to probobly call RR and I am sure that
they are going to tell me its not on thier end and it's a problem with
windows mail. I like windows mail and dislike RR web mail. thanks for your
input ;)

No not the same messages, I will clear out all the junk mail on my web mail
account so i can recieve my good mail in windows mail. It's weird I have the
connection and at the 15th message the pop server no longer becomes availble.
Sorry about the caps lazy fingers :)

If it's not the same messages each time, then it is likely a server time-out
caused by your antivirus. Which antivirus are you running? Some of them
are not fully compatible with Windows Mail.

Hey, my anti virus is CA provided by WI.RR.com and yes I do get the message
server time out.

thanks,
