Windows Mail does not have an integrated calendar, except that a Calendar
button on its toolbar will open a separate Windows Calendar, which has been
largely superseded by the newer Windows Live Calendar.
Also, the new Windows Live Mail beta now has an integrated calendar
which automatically syncs with the web-based Windows Live Calendar.
Now that you are thoroughly confused, which calendar are you interested in?

In Outlook 2007, click "Calendar", make the calendar you want to export
active, right click it, select "Save As", and save it - this makes an
iCalendar (.ics) file which Windows Calendar can import. Open Windows
Calendar, 'File|Import', browse to the .ics file you just created. I just
tried this and it seems to work fine.

thank you for your response. And now that you have confused me completely
:), I am trying to export the calendar from Outlook 2007 to "Windows mail".
Is that at all possible?
Looking forward to your response.

thank you very much. It worked but did not import 'names'. Nevertheless it
has worked partially and I thank you very much

I've never tried it since I don't use Outlook, but it should support
exporting to the .ics file format, which Windows Calendar will import.
