Windows Mail as a newsreader forgets....

Just had an interesting one. I cleared the file of all downloaded messages
and went into a newsgroup and Vista had forgotten all the messages to which
I had previously replied or the threads I had started. Turned out to be the
same on them all. OE never did this to me. I had to do a complete newsgroup
reset to get that.

It doesn't sound like Windows Mail had "forgotten" anything. It sounds like
you "cleared out all the downloaded messages", thus DELETING from your HD.

Let's face it, Windows Mail is NOT Outlook Express as many seem to think.
