What is Windows Mail 7? I cannot, for the life of me, work with Windows
Mail. It USED to work just fine. Will I lose all my mail if I restore
Windows Mail? If I even ca. I must have 6 inboxes, 12 sents, 10 recovered.

You are using Windows Live Mail. If it was installed as an update or
downloaded then you can remove in the normal way via Control
Panel/Programs/Uninstall a Program.
Windows Mail (v6) will still be there.

Okay Peter - I AM NOT getting my emails. They come sporadically. And I lose
them when I read them. I'm starting an on line course soon - so I had better
get this straightened out. I almost feel like re-installing my OS and
starting over. This is a mess. I miss Outlook Express so much.

newvistauser, please keep calm.

No need to reinstall anything.

Why you downloaded WLM defeats me, maybe because some, tout it as an
'upgrade' to WM?

First off go to the Start button>all programs>windows mail>right click>send
to>desktop, create
shortcut.

Click on that WM icon on the desktop -- make it the default mail program, if
prompted?

Try file menu>import, get your message store from WLM?

What happens next you will have to report back, because this is new ground
for us both :-)
