Will there be an edition of Windows after Windows Longhorn? is
microsoft expecting something else (other than Windows Blackcomb...
because that's Longhorn Server, isn't it?)

Anything beyond Longhorn is speculation at this point, but you can bet MS isn't going to stop making operating system software.

I can't imagine that Microsoft will stop making OSes, so it's a pretty safe
bet that there will be something coming after Longhorn.

From the roadmap they published a while ago, the scheduled codename for
Windows Next + 1 is "Blackcomb", but that's always subject to change.

Longhorn Server is just that - Longhorn server. It will be built from the
"Longhorn" codebase, just as Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP were built
from the "Whistler" codebase.

Hello.
Could whoever is using my name and my internet address please stop
posting illegal links to websites. I am not exactly sure what is going
on, although I suspect that a spam scam is going on. None of this data
was written by me, and I take no responsibility whatsoever for it.
I suggest you not to open any emials you recieve from me either
because they are possibly virus-infected.
Thanks, Jeremy.

What do you expect if you use a proper email address in a newsgroup post.
Disguise it as most people do. Sorry to say this and jump down your throat
but NEVER use your REAL Email address...
