Windows logs on and automatically logs off

Hi all,

I have a Legal Windows XP SP1 installed at my computer. I was working fine
with it since last Friday. Suddenly I cannot log on anymore. When I try to
do it it logs me off immediately.

How can I fix it? I cannot even log in as administrator. It does the same.

Try going into Safe Mode and run adware and virus scans, assuming you have
some installed.

I cannot log in in anyway. Safemode doesn´t allow me to log in either.

Any other idea please?

Is your copy legal? If so I would suggest a format/reinstallation of
Windows..disconnect from the internet whilst doing it.

P.S. Sorry, you did say it was a legal copy. Once you've reinstalled it I
would plump for SP2 as things run smoother with it.
After Apr12 SP1 will not longer be supported.
