I have a Winodws XP Pro PC and it logs me off without me doing anything. It
just logs off. This is happening to me either when I am using my PC or
leaving the PC for a while to eat lunch. After I return from lunch I was
logged off and back to enter my log-in credentials.

Can anyone tell me what is happening on my computer?

Most likely either the screen saver or power options are configured to
require credentials to resume. To check these, right click on the desktop
and select Properties. This will bring up your display properties. Go to
the Screen Saver tab and see if "On resume, password protect" is checked.
If it is, remove the check. Also on that tab click the Power button at the
bottom. This will open your Power Options Properties. Go to the Advanced
tab and see if "Prompt for password when computer resumes from standby" is
checked. If it is, remove the check.
