Hey

I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit version. Anyways, when the logon screen
shows up-it has the back ground and everything but no Logon dialog box. I'm
the administrator and set a password for it. Now at first, I thought it could
be just delay but I just upgraded my hard drive and memory to 750 GB Sata 300
32 MB and mem to 6 GB DDR2 (1066 mhz). But, I realized that when I press
space bar or whatever key then it shows up.

Also, long time ago I spilt coffee on my keyboard and took it apart and
cleaned it, made sure everything was dry and no sticky residue or anything.
It worked fine for about a week ago when I turned the PC off and unplugged
the cords so I can orginize the cords better and reduce clutter. I think I
may have bent one of the pins inside the keyboard PS/2 and if it's that I'm
getting a new keyboard tomorrow from tiger direct. I just installed Windows
Vista Ultimate on this new hard drive and I don't think there's any
viruses\spyware or anything.

Is there anything I could do? Thanks!

if the keyboard has a bent pin, straighten it or wait for the new one.
if it takes a key press to get a login prompt, do it.
