Windows logo key+E "closes" Powerpoint2007

I have recently upgraded to Office 2007 on an WindowsXP machine. When I try
to use Windows logo key+E to bring up MyComputer, it also "closes" any open
Powerpoint2007 sessions. When it "closes" PowerPoint2007, it doesn't save
the open files. Windows Task Manager indicates that POWERPNT.EXE is still
running, but I cannot interact with in. I cannot start a new instance of
PowerPoint until I uese Task Manager to end the POWERPNT.EXE process, or
until I reboot.

Any idea on how I can get Windows logo key+E to behave "normally" again?

Hmm. Windows-E does nothing for me—in PowerPoint or elsewhere in Windows XP.

The Windows keyboard shortcuts overview in WindowsXP Help gives shortcuts
(under the Natural Keyboard shortcuts) which use the Windows logo key. Many
of them are quite useful:

Windows+M minimizes all windows,
Windows+Break displays the System Properties dialog box,
Windows+R opens the Run dialog box,
Windows+L locks the computer,
and, the one I use most often,
Windows+E opens My Computer.

Unfortunately, this no longer works for me, with Powerpoint2007 and WindowsXP.
