Windows log on problem

Hi!;

I'm using Windows 2000 Professional. When I log in to Windows, sometimes the
system doesn’t allow me to access the system, it came out this message
"The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon
interactively." This problem happened especially when I'm using account with
normal user privileges. I don't know why this problem happened, anyone has
the idea.

Thanks & Regards

The problem depends on if your computer is an Active Directory domain
computer or not. Assuming it is NOT, logon as a local administrator and open
Local Security Policy [use secpol.msc in run box] and go to security
settings/ local policies/ user rights and make sure the user right for
"logon locally" includes administrators and users and that the deny logon
locally does not contain any groups that may override allow logon
cally. --- Steve
