Admin logon not allowed on Windows 2k Pro

I edited the Local user rights policy on a windows 2000
pro system to disallow access to all ordinary users both
locally and from network. Afterwards, no one , including
the administrators have been able to logon to the system.
Attempts by Admin to logon says "The local policy of this
system does not permit you to logon interactively" and
when trying to logon from another windows system, it
says "Logon failure: the user has not been granted the
requested logon type at this computer". nothing is
working. Please help.

Well I think you learned that administrators are members of the everyone and
users goup. What I would try is putting the hard drive in another computer
running W2K Pro and copying the secedit.sdb file from that computer to the
locked out operating system that way. The link below refers to that
technique that usually involves network access which you do not have at this
time. --- Steve
