Windows Live problem

I'm using Windows Live Messenger, and over the last couple of days I
have been unable to send messages to offline recipients.

Is this a server problem, anyone else got this?

I'm having the same problem. It's driving me nuts. I saw an entry in the
Live Messenger blog that someone else is experiencing this too so it's not
just us. I wonder how widespread the problem is! It's not affecting
everyone, I have a friend that is running the beta and she's not having any
problems at all.
