Windows Live Messenger - missing contacts

Hi, I've just upgraded for MSN messenger to Windows Live Messenger. However I
realised my contact list was totally reset! I used to have around 10 contacts
but now nobody is listed in the new program. Do you know what happened and
how i can retrieve my old contacts?

They're still there. Windows Live Messenger has a new contacts model which has failed on a
number of accounts in the past few days. As a quick fix until the problem is resolved, you
can downgrade back to MSN Messenger, where you'll find all your contacts safe and sound:
