Windows Live Mail

Hey folks. Just so you know, Microsoft just released a new look for Windows
Live Mail Beta. It has some changes, but it is way slower. It used to be that
I could just move Inbox to Drafts, and it would refresh the page without
having to click F5, but now changing from one to another takes forever,
longer.

Everything is slower on Live Mail it often makes me wonder why i continue to
use it. Even on broadband it takes around 3 minutes to get to the windows
live mail main window after clicking on the my email inbox option on live
messenger.
I can't say that i'm impressed with it.

I agree.

I noticed this morning when checking my hotmail, there was
a "Loading" window that had a link "use Basic Version"- it
was a little bit faster. It seems Windows Live Mail continues to
get slower, in spite of the claims when you first login and get the
welcome message that says it is better and faster. It's just not
true.

This is what my WLM says after switching to "Basic Version".
"You’re temporarily using the basic version
This is a simpler version of Windows Live Mail that works better for slower Internet
connections. You’re just trying this version during this sign-in session. To use this version
whenever you sign in, choose the basic version on the Options page."

Michael i'm glad i'm not the only one that gets the 'slower connection,
change to basic version option.' The last few days it has been driving me
crazy.
