Windows live e-mail problem

I have my windows e-mail through comcast.net but I'm having trouble in live
with attachments and downloads. Are the 2 connected someway and what do I do
to fix it. I keep messing up everything Please help.
 
Define "trouble in live."
Are you talking about a live.com account in Windows Live Hotmail?
