Hi!
Some time back a Chinese friend of mine installed language support for
Chinese on my note-book. After that often special characters (like french
accents) used to appear as chinese characters. It annoyed me and yesterday I
found a way to uninstall language support, i.e. go to Regional Settings and
uncheck the box.
But ever since I have done that, several pages do not download properly on
Internet Explorer, including my Hotmail Inbox, it comes up without any
pictures and with plain text and there is a message in the status bar "error
on page" and I cannot click on anything.
This problem is with some other web-pages also. I assume it is due to my
uninstalling languages, because I was surfing normally when I did it but had
problems ever since restarting the computer. What can I do to correct it
without installing the languages back?
Thanks,
Saman.
