Windows Key +E not working?

For some reason, my explorer shortcut (Windows key + E) does not work
anymore! Other windows key shortcuts (r, d, l, etc) work fine, and my
"e" key is cool too, it's just the Explorer shortcut that doesn't
function.

It's not a group policy issue, since no error "restriction" comes up,
and my same profile on other machines works fine, it is just this
machine.

Anybody have any ideas on possible programs or issues that could be
causing the troubles?

Virus scans, killin' all startup programs, using tweak-ui to disable/
re-enable windows+x - nothing's working! I've seen some others around
with the issue, but no followups on fixes. :-/

Anybody else think of something i've missed?
