Windows woun't load up, douse anyone know how I can get to my drive and save my files? I doun't have a Xp cd,(I never got one) so I can't repair.

download knoppix 3.4 and burn the ISO into a cdrom and use it as a rescue
disk.
This version of linux runs from the cd and does not touch your hard drive.
It is simple to use.
Once Linux has booted from the cdrom you will be able to see your files from
the hard drive icons on the desktop
www.knoppix.com. then you can transfer your files to floppy disks.

I can't burn cd's on this computer.

Tapping F8 during boot to get into safe mode doesn't work either? Is there a
Product key for your system, possibly on the back? If so, you may be able to
go to the site below to attempt to aquire another CD. Good luck.
