Windows installer

I just reinstalled windows XP onto my computer. Every few
minutes the windows installer comes up for a brief second
and add a msn icon to my taskbar. At one point I had 20
or more msn icons in my task bar. How do I stop this from
happening?

Kelly,
I did the windows installer fix, and it still is doing
the same thing.
