Windows installer

Whenever I try to install a new program to my Windows XP
it gives an error: "Windows installer service could not
be accessed" Do you know why?

Did you get this error message?

"The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. You may be running in
Safe mode or Windows Installer may not be correctly installed. "

If you did then follow the instructions on this website and your
installation files should work again.

Unfortunately, both methods didn't work? I thing the
original in XP does have problems? What now?
