Yes, I understand that. What I'm saying is that the Windows installer is
performing an on-demand installation for an application that's already
present in the system. BTW, did you check the link which I posted earlier?

Thats the pont, I am not trying to install anything. If I openan
application
the Windows installer comes up and the message is "Prepaining to install"
hit cances and within a minute it stops, the disk drive makes a noise and
then everything is ok until I open another application

Everytime I sign on i get a window thatis a Window installer saying
Prepaieing to install. If I press alt-del-crl and force a end program,
i
loose the desktop. This popup happens whenever I open a new progrqm and
at
startup. Any help?
