What is it specifically asking to do and do you allow it to complete the
operation? There are ways of stopping these installs but it might need
Outlook reinstalled.

Wayne: Did you ever resolve your problem with Windows Installer? I am having
the same problem and cannot find a solution.

After upgrading from Outlook 2000 to 2002 version I started getting the same
Intaller problem. I have run the Installer Cleanup utility, but didn't work.
Checking in the Error Log files I found this repetative error. This has
been going on a long time.
