Windows Installer

I am running XP and have a problem that I cannot figure out. I have a
frequent window that opens that says Windows Installer and then attempts to
install MGI VideoWave 4. I have tried to uninstall the application but the
uninstall asks for a CD to be inserted that I do not have. Contact with the
manufacturer has been unsuccessful.

Any ideas on how to get this application off my computer? The application
does not appear as a choice in the Add/Remove Software section.
