Windows Installer won't stop!

Windows Installer repeatedly pops up trying to install
Microsoft Money 2002. I hit cancel and get error 1706 No
valid source could be found for product Microsoft Money
2002. It is a viscious cycle. I keep hitting cancel and
it just won't go away. I called Gateway. They told me to
remove the program in the control panel. That won't
happen because the computer thinks it is busy installing
MM 2002!

Use the windows installer clean up utility to remove the Money installer:

Open My Computer > C: Drive > Documents & Settings > "Your Username" > Local
Settings > empty contents of "Temp" Folder.

Click start > run > type in "msconfig" without quotes > startup (tab), look
to see if anything relating to Money 2002.
