I have just discovered that my Installer Directory is 5.29GB
In the folder was loads of duplicate msp/msi files that are the same
size, same description and same creation date.

I therefore decided to delete the duplicates leaving 1 of each file
left there.

The folder is now down to a respectable 426MB

Does anyone think this will be OK?

I hope so

Nick

I Think there is no problems,There is some programs made for remove
duplications so
i think the same size the same name files if you delete one and left one you
will got no problems

WINDOWS Installer folder

To avoid all kinds of errors with applications such as MS Office, leave the
C:\WINDOWS\Installer folder alone.

FWIW, I deleted some MS Office related items and I now *CANNOT* get MS
Office Updates.
