windows hotfix q811493

i have been told by my ISP that the windows hotfix Q811493
is the cause for me getting frequently disconnected, i
understand that i can't just delete the hotfix but that it
has to be removed safely or it will affect the operating
system...does anybody know how to do this ???

Why did you install this? This patch is only good for users which can log on to the computer in one of two ways. Either directly through the Console or by using a Terminal session. If you remove the update and this is still an issue, I would make sure that no one can log onto your machine that you have little trust in.
