Windows Fatal Error

Hi,

My Windows XP Home machine (Toshiba Satellite) reboots periodically
and for no apparent reason. I checked the error log, and the Fatal
Error that comes up is:

Error code 1000000a, parameter1 9914a644, parameter2 00000002,
parameter3 00000000, parameter4 804e65de.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

I cannot find any information on any site (Microsoft or otherwise)
with this exact error code and set of parameters. I don't even know
where to begin. We did a chkdsk /f and it fixed several bad blocks,
which we thought would solve the problem, but the machine rebooted
itself about 30 minutes after doing all this. Any assistance/advice
is greatly appreciated.

1... Try to update or install the latest Motherboard Drivers, Video Drivers
on your system.
2... Log into the BIOS and make sure Disable BIOS caching for System &
Video, check your Power Supply is it supplying a clean current to the Machine.

3... You may have a bad RAM try to test your RAM by running Memtest by
downloading this tool and unzip it and make a floppy or CD/DVD and run it on
Reboot.

You may need to reposition/reset the RAM sticks in their slots.
HTH.
Let us know.
