Hi there. I am getting the following when I log on to my HP notebook PC:

Error code 100000be, parameter1 f738b772, parameter2 06b78121, parameter3
f7a53764, parameter4 0000000a.

It might be better than the origional error code which was:

Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 00000008, parameter3
ecfc0ba0, parameter4 00000000.

Each time it says my system has recovered from a serious error. I have
updated the BIOS and updated the video driver. Any ideas?

Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? Right click on
the My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties,
Hardware,Device Manager. If yes what is the Device Error code?

Hi Gerry,

Thank you for your reply. I just checked device manager, and there are no
yellow question marks. Thank you very much though!

Disable automatic restart on system failure. This should help by
allowing time to write down the STOP code properly should they occur
again. Right click on the My Computer icon on the Desktop and select
Properties, Advanced, Start-Up and Recovery, System Failure and uncheck
box before Automatically Restart.

What was on the line below the one aboveve?

Try Start, Run, type "sigverif.exe" without quotes and hit OK. What
drivers are listed as unsigned? Disregard those which are not checked.
