I keep getting this error message on my other computer:
We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully.
A recent hardware or software change might have caused this.
The Windows Advanced Options menu includes the following troubleshooting
modes: • Safe Mode
• Safe Mode with Networking
• Safe Mode with Command Prompt
• Last Known Good Configuration
• Start Windows Normally
I've tried all the options, and all the F keys. Everything brings me back
to this same message except for F1 and F5 which take me to things I don't
understand and don't want to mess with.

Anyway, my question is, can I reinstall my windows without losing my docs
and pics etc.? And will reinstalling windows even work??

Thanks, hope I get a reply soon!!

I've got same problem. Also when I re-start with the XP cd in, it gets as
far as the Welcome to Setup screen with the 3 choices (install, repair or
exit) and it always hangs.
Hope someone can suggest some help for me and Sarah B.
TIA, John
