Windows Fails

I am having a problem with an installation of WIndows XP. It started
yesterday where the machine decided it did not want to connect to our network
anymore, yet it was still able to go to the internet. Also, when closing out
of windows explore it completely locks up. All the icons disappear from the
desktop and nothing happens.

THis is just a stat. COuld someone PLEASE help me with this - it is driving
me insane. I can provide more information if you tell me what you need.

Try System Restore to put your machine back by a few days.
