I wonder if someone could help.. Normally if I want to
go to Windows Explorer, I normally take the route via the
Start Key / Programs / accessories / route to get to
Windows Explorer..

However, for some reason I cannot find this directory
anywhere...

Can anyone help why this program has occured, and how to
restore the Windows Explorer file..

Kind Regards
Karl

For Explorer try using "WindowsKey+E" to launch it. Much faster.

Explorer.exe is in your \Windows folder, where it belongs.

To add a Start Menu shortcut for it, open Windows Explorer and
navigate to \Documents and Settings\All Users\Start
Menu\Programs\Accessories in the left side panel. Then right-click on
the blank portion of the right side panel (which should now list the
items in the Accessories menu) and select New - Shortcut. In the New
Shortcut window click on Browse and locate Explorer.exe in the
\Windows folder. Click on Apply and OK as needed to exit.

Good luck

Thanks Ron - good idea to use the Windows Key +e, but it opens My Computer,
not Explorer, on my machine. Is there a similar key combination for
Explorer?
