Windows Explorer

I like my Windows Explorer to display "Details" and have configured it to do
this for all folders. However, after a while it reverts (without my
intervention) to "Icons". Does anyone know why this should happen and how
to stop it doing so?

Control Panel -> Folder Options
Make sure option "Remember each folder's view settings" is checked.
You may want to apply this to all folders, so click the "Apply to All
Folders" button.
