Running XP
I doubleclick on any folder to open, nothing happens.
I rightclick on any folder, for any option. nothing
happens.
right click on Start/explorer, does not work.
Only way to get to content of folders is through an open
application file/open

any help would be appreciated

Right Click - HourGlass - Update 817287 and/or 821557

Check your settings here: Most users who face this issue can still right
click the Start button, even though they can't right click on the Start
Menu. Here is the workaround:

Right click the Start button, select Properties, Customize. Scroll through
the options on the Advanced tab and put the check mark back in Enable
dragging and dropping.

If your right clicking abilities are more complexed, run this edit.

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
