windows explorer

Hi,

i'm confused. under windows XP it was quite easy to setup View = details
under windows explorer. However, i'm not able to setup it for all
folders and drives under windows Vista.

what is the tip ?

Maybe I'm not understanding your question. To view "Details", just click on
the arrow to the right of "Views" and click on "Details". Then make sure
(just like WinXP) to turn off "Remember each folder's view settings"
(Tools - Folder Options - View Tab).

Hi Tim,

this is what i did before to send this post, but it does not work as it
should

i applied all patches and upgrades for Vista, but nothing has changed.
Any other idea where could be located the problem ?
