When I move away from Windows Explorer by clicking on another application's
window, Windows Explorer no longer automatically goes to the background. I
have to click the Minimize button to get it out of the way.

Is there a setting that I need to fix, or is this a bug?

This seems like an extreme step for such an issue. You do not explain why it
is necessary.

Anyone else know of a fix for this?

You have spent at least the last hour working on it. In that time a repair
would have completed.

Who says I spent the last hour working on it?

Hi ctollive,

Does this occur when you start Windows XP in Safe Mode or when you
start Windows XP with a clean boot?

Also, does this only happen in one user account or all user accounts?

ctollive,
I had that problem then further problems with IE7 and Windows Explorer. I
did this...but my computer crashed before I tried this, since I have tried
this on a clean install and a total harddrive format I have had no further
problems.

I have given this Adobe link for others to try who described symptoms I
experienced before the computer crashed and some have said it did not help.
Others have not replied yet.
