Windows Explorer Undo: Redo Buffer?

XP SP-1.

My keyboard has Undo and F5 on the same key. Was trying to refresh an
explorer Window by idly hitting the key (waiting for my scanner to dump a
130MB fil, so expecting some latency) and suddenly a file I deleted a week
ago appeared on my Desktop. Clearly, my F-Lock was not on.

My question, therefore, is how can I see what changes were undone?
Alternatively, how can I redo them? Have copied, deleted, moved many files
this week and want to ensure that I have not lost data.

I have done Google searches and I scanned the registry, but found nothing
helpful.

Thank you ever so much.
