Windows Explorer Problem

Windows explorer works at the moment until i double click on My Computer and
it shows the flash light and doesn't show any items. I have to type C: in
the address bar but this only works in explorer. In programs wanting to
access My Computer they freeze and then i must force quit the program. What
do i do to fix it?

If you do not have the mentioned hardware, try stopping the WIA service
using the instructions in the above KB article.
